Absolute StartUp provides backup function to store current configuration and restore it easily.

Absolute StartUp provides suitable backup interface into understandable format - you can restore items on any system manually with one command. All data are backuped - original windows startup configuration and extant Absolute StartUp configuration.

You can select File\Clear programs to clear all startup items. To clear selected section in the tree, use tree popupmenu and select clear section.
Clear section function is available only for original startup sections.

After you select "File\Backup program" in the main menu or button in toolbar you will be provided with folder dialog.

You have to select folder to save current configuration of current user (About access to startup configuration of other users read here).
There are some points, which will be created in this directory:

To restore configuration you can select necessary configuration from "File\Restore programs\" list or select defined folder with folder select dialog - "File\Restore programs\Select backup folder". All current items will be deleted and information from backup will be applied. List will be refreshed automatically.

It is possible to control maximal number of backup folders in the list with options - more in General options page
With this option it is possible to backup configuration of other users in system too.

To restore items manually is necessary to start RestoreLinks.bat file - just select it in Explorer and start it.
All startup items will be deleted, backuped shortcuts will be copied into correspondent folders, registry file will be applied.

You can export all or selected startup items into HTML file with function File\Publish startup list main menu.
Aslo with this function you can print all services and system libraries, but you cannot backup them - these settings are backuped in system backup.

Note: It is recommended to create backup at first start time.

Note: Restoring operation is applied for current user only.
